Class IV photobiomodulation to reduce pain and accelerate tissue healing.

High-power therapeutic laser delivers specific wavelengths of light into tissue, supporting cellular energy production, reducing inflammation, and accelerating recovery.

In depth

What Laser Therapy actually does.

Class IV therapeutic laser — also called photobiomodulation — delivers precise wavelengths of red and near-infrared light deep into tissue. The photons are absorbed by mitochondria, the energy factories inside your cells, and the result is more ATP, less inflammation, and a faster local healing response.

This is not the cold laser of two decades ago. Modern Class IV lasers deliver enough therapeutic dose to reach deep muscles, joints, and nerves in a session that takes 5–15 minutes. Patients feel a gentle warmth over the treated area — that's it.

Because it acts at the cellular level, laser is one of the most versatile tools in the office. We use it for musculoskeletal pain, peripheral neuropathy, post-surgical recovery, TMJ pain, and even certain skin conditions.

How it works

A clear, step-by-step process.

  1. 1
    Mapping the target area
  2. 2
    5–15 minute laser application
  3. 3
Series of 6–12 sessions, frequency based on condition
  4. 4
    Functional reassessment

What it's used for

The specific problems Laser Therapy solves for our patients.

Joint pain and osteoarthritis

Knees, hips, shoulders, and small joints — reduces inflammation and supports cartilage metabolism.

Peripheral neuropathy

Especially diabetic and chemotherapy-induced neuropathy, where laser supports nerve recovery.

Tendon and ligament injuries

Sprains, strains, and post-surgical soft-tissue rehab.

Chronic back and neck pain

Layered with decompression and PEMF for compounding effect.

Headache and TMJ pain

Reduces muscle guarding and local inflammation in the head and jaw.

Why patients choose it

  • Painless, warm sensation only
  • No downtime, no side effects, no drugs
  • Effective at cellular and mitochondrial level, not just surface heat
  • Safe to combine with virtually every other therapy we offer
  • Often noticeable relief in the first 2–3 sessions

Evidence & mechanism

Photobiomodulation is supported by more than 5,000 published studies. Class IV laser is FDA-cleared for temporary relief of muscle and joint pain, arthritic pain, and improving local circulation. Recent research in peripheral neuropathy shows laser can improve sensation and reduce pain when applied on a structured schedule.

Who is a good candidate

Almost anyone with soft-tissue or joint pain can benefit from laser. We screen carefully in patients with active cancer, over the thyroid or gravid abdomen, and in a few other specific situations. Otherwise it is one of the safest tools in the office.

Our results

Fast, painless, and stackable with everything else.

Because laser has such a low barrier of entry — no needles, no soreness — it becomes a workhorse in our care plans. Patients on our neuropathy program routinely report reduced burning and better sleep within a few weeks. Post-injection patients heal faster and with less inflammation when laser is layered onto their plan.
